Baritone Valdis Jansons debuted the role Tonio and Alfio in Pagliacci at the Opera of Slovenia in September 2020 and the title role of Nabucco during past summer 2019 under Mārtiņš Ozoliņš and Guntis Gailitis before singing this same role again in Riga from February to May 2020

Previously Dorabella in Cosi' fan tutte at Opera of Nice and Anthea in Antibes, under Roland Boër and Daniel Benoin and La Muse / Nicklausse in Les contes d'Hoffmann at the Opera of Lausanne (dir. Jean-Yves Ossonce/ Stefano Poda).

Candida Guida, Bradamante, Sorceress , Marquise de Merteuil

Recent and upcoming projects of contralto Candida Guida. After the role of Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas in Trapani, Candida sings Bradamante in Alcina at Theatre Bremen then,  once again, the main role of Marquise de Merteuil in Les liaisons Dangereuses with alto's works by Vivaldi at Theatre Biel-Solothurn, and before a solo concert at the Handel Festspiele in Halle in June 2020 alongside the great bandoneonist Marcelo Nisinman. Next season she sings Wowkle in Fanciulla del West at Teatro Grande in Brescia, Teatro of Pavia, Teatro of Como and Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona. September 2020 - January 2021.
