Candida Guida in few words

The beautiful, dark voice of Italian contralto Candida Guida is a perfect vehicle for comic or dramatique, Baroque, Rossini and romantic- or contemporary roles. The strength of her lower register lends itself to the heroic and storming roles of Handel and Vivaldi. Yet she also has the musical presence to sing the religious works of Pergolesi or Leo, and the flexibility and range and good coloratura to sing Rossini.

La force de son registre grave se prête aux rôles héroïques de Haendel et Vivaldi. Elle affiche également une grande présence et qualité musicale pour des oeuvres sacrées telles que Pergolèse ou Leo et une flexibilité et un ambitus vocal et excellente coloratura pour le répertoire Rossini.
