Happy to announce that CANDIDA GUIDA, mezzo-soprano, is part of the wonderful cast of the amazing San Carlo's production of Carmen, conducted by Zubin Mehta, as Mercédès in this beginning of Season in Bangkok. September 12th and 14th, 2018 Europe’s oldest and most remarkable opera house is performing this fiery production with a cast of 256 artists. Carmen, by Teatro di San Carlo Opera, is coming to Bangkok with this passionate rendering of Georges Bizet’s much-loved classic. It stars some of the top opera singers in the world including, Saimir Pirgu, Veronica Simeoni and Vito Priante. The performance celebrates 150 years of diplomatic relations between Italy and Thailand Supported by Embassy of Italy, SCG and Tata Steel.
